Do you have an intuitive young person in your life who is in need of fostering their gifts? Do you know a sensitive child who would benefit from exploring the realm of Shamanism?  If so, the "My Spirit Tribe" is the place to begin.  It serves as an entry into the world of Shamanism for young people.  This experience also prepares young people to step into future Shamanic offerings to come.

Shamanism is a beautiful spiritual and nature based practice that allows us to recognize and communicate with the spirit in all things. For centuries, it has been practiced all over this globe. It provides us the tools to live our lives more powerfully and with greater ease through a strong connection to Spirit.  But how can Shamanism support children, you ask?   This way of life teaches us all, no matter our age, to know our own personal power and stand in our truth.  We learn to flow with the rhythms of nature, gain access to the wisdom that surrounds us, and find our tribe. 

"My Spirit Tribe" will be offered in two sessions on Saturday, May 18th. Children from 7 to 10 years of age and their supportive adult will gather from 10:00 to 12:00. Our older young people from 11 to 14 years of age and their adult partner will gather from 2:00 to 4:00pm.  Both groups will experience an introduction to the world of shamanism, participate in a drum circle, and dip their toes into the journeying experience.

Any adult who wishes their child to attend "My Spirit Tribe", would greatly benefit from attending the "Beginning Shamanic Journeying" workshop offered on Sunday, April 7th. There will also be a free introductory talk, "What is Shamanism?" on Saturday, March 30th at the Louisville Spiritualist Center from 2:00 - 3:00pm with extended time for questions.  Both "Beginning Shamanic Journeying" and "What is Shamanism?" are offered to all adults as a way of supporting their personal shamanic journey and also to parents needing to understand the work before supporting their child's experience. "Beginning Shamanic Journeying" and "What is Shamanism?" are both offered to an adult audience and not just to those with children attending "My Spirit Tribe".
